Burton Circle
Private applications for a family or a trusted circle, running on hardware you control.
Burton Circle is the household layer. It is the applications a family or a small trusted group actually use — without creating accounts at a company that wants the address book.
It runs on Burton OS or on hardware we manage for you. Self-hosted is free. Managed is a small fee.
What it is for
- A circle of people you already trust: a family, a household, a small shop.
- Shared applications that stay on your premises.
- Communication and household software that does not mine the group to sell ads.
How it stays private
Zero trust between members and devices. Being in the house is not the same as being in the circle. Each person and device proves itself.
On your host. Circle data lives on the machine you run, or on an appliance we manage. We do not keep a copy.
No personal collection. We do not store or sell your data. We do not collect address information or any personal information to “set up” the circle.
Who it is for
Families and individuals who want the convenience of shared software without the surveillance that usually comes with it. If you can run a home server, you can run Circle. If you would rather not, we will manage the hardware.
